Life already has requirements for relationship, belonging, reciprocity, repair, protection, nourishment and return.And when human-made systems violate those laws, that is already a political act.So OLS becomes political not by entering party conflict, but by revealing the deeper political reality:The original patterning of life was overruled.
This is the Ground Beneath This Series of Reflections.
Economy, housing, education, loneliness, ecology, land, community etc - none of these are separate issues.
They are places where life’s laws are either honoured or broken.OLS is giving name to that pattern.
The Values Life Stands From
The One Living System does not begin by asking only what we value.It asks:What does Life value?When we observe life closely, we see that it does not create through domination, extraction or separation. Life creates through relationship, balance, repair, reciprocity, protection, truth and belonging.
The Values of the One Living System are Simple, but not Small.
Custodianship.
Truth.
Acceptance.
Oneness.
Love.These are not values added onto life.They are ways life remains whole.Custodianship
Is the duty to care for, protect, steward and hold deep regard for life’s continued becoming.Truth
Is the willingness to seek what is real, even when it asks us to change.Acceptance
Is the space where life is allowed to arrive as it is, while still being held in responsibility, repair and growth.Oneness
Is the recognition that nothing lives alone; our aliveness depends on relationship with all else.Love
Is the creative force of life itself - the yearning through which life continues to offer, form, serve and become.These values are not here to be defined only by the mind.They are here to be lived.They are the ground from which OLS stands, and the ground from which each public stance begins.
